A big “thank you” goes out to Linda’s Garden Path who is continuing their generous sponsorship of our weekly school report.  We really appreciate it!

School is off to a great start.  Forms are coming in, timetables are set, and it is a buzz of activity at KCI!   A big thank you goes out to all who attended the open house on Wednesday at noon.  The open house featured a fundraiser co-ordinated by Mrs. Verigin with students helping to cook burgers for a fundraiser to raise money to buy snowshoes for Spartans.  The Kamsack Branch of the Wildlife Federation will help to purchase the snowshoes.  We hope you made it and met all of the KCI staff – both old and new!

The first home football game of the year is tomorrow at 4:00 at KCI against Swan River.  Make sure you come and watch the new Spartan team battle Swan!

Volleyball and golf sign up sheets are in the main office.  Make sure to get involved!

SRC is hosting the first dance of the year tonight – for grades 7  – 12. Admission is free.  Doors open at 6:30 and close at 7:30.  The dance is over at 9:30!  It will be a lot of fun.
